Deep Theta: Complete Entrianment

A revised version of the previous deep theta presets. I have fixed a few errors and added white noise which has a 5Hz binaural beat embeeded in it using cool edit.

This is probably the final preset of the Deep Theta series. Hope you enjoy it! I believe it to be the most effecitive of the already very effective preset range.

Chakra Stimulation and Balance v2.1 by Faded

This is a preset I put together to stimulate all chakras and balance them, along with a few other things. A double sweep into a constant 4.5hz frequency which is really nice for meditation, and then a third segment where the 4.5 goes back up to 15 as all the other voices fade out, returning you back to normal. I messed around with modulation to give it a nice never constant warbling rhythm type thing, it seems to keep my attention very well. The new background is a Gregorian chant piece that I found particularly pleasant for meditation, it’s a fourteen meg wav and I’ll find a way to transfer it to anyone who would like to use it, just send me an email. This preset is an amature’s attempt to reproduce the effects of one of mine thc trips ;)

It made my body very relaxated. I also had strange feelings and I had some problems with my visual perception. I didn’t have this wind feeling that I intended to stimulate. But you can! (meybe by seting wind becground sound)

While I was listening to it with my eyes closed, I started to have strange thoughts and sleep-like visions.

Mystery Journey

My goal was to create a complex soundscape that was subtle, mysterious, gentle, and very deep; all done with a smooth “take-off and landing”. I incorporated binaural beats of Shumann’s resonance with variable pitches, along with a descent into theta, 12 Hz. for centering, and 7 Hz. for alpha. The background is a combination of gong, Tibetian bowl, and Tingsha chimes. Suggestions welcomed.

What is Therapeutic Sound?

Modern science is only now beginning to recognizing what the ancient mystics and wise men have told us for centuries; that everything (including you) is in a constant state of vibration. The most elemental state of vibration is that of sound. Everything has an optimum range of vibration, and that rate is called resonance. When we are in resonance, we are in balance. Therapeutic sound and sound therapy techniques are used to realign the “out of sync frequencies” you may be experiencing within you mind or body, by exposing you to the optimum frequencies for the changes you wish to make within yourself.

Brain Wave States

Scientist have discovered that our brains operate in four levels of frequency- beta, alpha, theta and delta. Each level of frequency is measured in cycles per second, or hertz- hz.Beta has the highest frequency, between 13 and 40 cycles per second. This is associated with our normal, everyday waking state. Beta helps in logical thinking, analysis, and active attention. Stress can throw the frequency to the higher ranges of beta.

Alpha operates between 8 and 13 cycles per second. This occurs during daydreaming, fantasizing and creative visualization. This is often associated with a deeply relaxed state, and with a light trance or meditation.

Theta operates between 4 and 8 cycles per second. Theta is associated with intuition, and allows us to access our subconscious. It is activated during dream sleep and deep meditational states. Theta is also associated with creative thinking, and allows us to tap into our inner genius.

Delta has the lowest frequency between 0.5 and 4 cycles per second. Delta is produced during deep sleep.

What Are Binaural Beats?

If two different tones are played into each ear, the brain attempts to find a balance- for example, if the frequency of sound in your left ear is 420Hz, and the frequency you’re hearing in your right ear is 430Hz, your brain will process a binaural beat of about 10Hz. These beats are not actually heard, since they are well below the natural range of hearing, but you can often “hear” a sort of “humming” inside your head as the binaural beat.It’s been discovered that these beats can be used to elicit responses in the brain; the brain becomes “entrained”, which means it starts to resonate at the same frequency as the binaural beat. When this happens, it can change the brain wave patterns in your brain temporarily. This has been shown to have a huge effect- it’s been shown that binaural beats are highly effective at inducing meditative and hypnotic states. This is a great breakthrough for anyone wants to meditate, but didn’t have the time or teacher to learn how. This type of meditation is also more effective than usual meditation because of the binaural beats. It can reduce your stress levels, the amount of sleep you need, and it can increase such things as intelligence, intuition and creativity.
